Mount Satima is the third-highest mountain in Kenya. It is also the highest mountain in a range, the Aberdare Range. Lesatima or Ol Donyo Le Satima is a Maasai word that translates to "mountain of the bull calf." Lesatima peak straddles on the northern end of the Aberdares, on the eastern side of the Great Rift Valley. The Summit is at 4001 Meters(13,127 ft). Around it is many sharp volcanic cones, popularly "the Dragon's Teeth." There are moraines between 3,600 meters (11,800 ft) and 3,800 meters (12,500 ft) on the mountain's northwest.
